You have a computer. Go to AFL website. Go to "Rules of the Game".
Rule 16.1.2 explains the rule. On the next page is a picture defining the protected area.
Please take the trouble to have a look instead of waffling on here.

Compared to the absolute rubbish that we recieved last week that i believe led to an umpire being 'dropped', the umpiring yesterday Marion VS Flaggys was wonderful.
Just a great effort, kept the game flowing, smart decisions (bar one push in the back :twisted: )
