Part of Email received from Dave Reynolds, SANFL Development Officer West Adel Football Club.

"Part of my job is to manage all of the Auskick centres within the West Adelaide zone. I have worked very closely with Terry Taylor this year and have been extremely impressed with the way he runs the Flagstaff Hill Football Club’s Auskick. Terry has been able to increase numbers and deal with this increase extremely well.

I was so impressed with Terry’s program that I nominated him as the 2009 Auskick Coordinator of the year within the WAFC zone. Each SANFL club can nominate one coordinator from within their zone to be chosen as the SA Auskick coordinator/ coach of the year.

Terry was not only a stand out within my zone but also within the state. The SANFL narrowed it down to a top 4 with Terry included. It was then voted on again to come up with a state winner, and it gives me great pleasure to announce Terry Taylor from the FHFC has been chosen as the SA Auskick Coordinator of 2009!

It is a fantastic achievement for both Terry and the Flagstaff Hill Football Club. I’m sure that you are extremely proud of the Auskick program being conducted at your club, I know the West Adelaide Football Club and the SANFL certainly are. Auskick is a vital starting base for young children to become involved in playing football and a great stepping stone for players of the future at your local club and beyond."

Only just delved into here

My son has done the last 2 years under TT and one to go in 2010, he is looking forward to it already....Terry runs a fantastic program, word of mouth gets around and other kids from other programs turn up cause they knows its the best going around....congrats Terry

The Flagstaff Hill Under 18's, B Grade and A Grade will be playing the clubs first trial game against Loxton North Football Club in the Riverland on Saturday the 20th of March 2010.

The trial game is also a great opportunity for members, supporters and players at the Club to enjoy a social weekend away together on the banks of the Murray. Following the trial games on Saturday we'll enjoy a meal at the Loxton North Football Club followed by a social night around a camp fire.

After a bacon and egg brekky on Sunday morning you can spend the day waterskiing, kneeboarding, wakeboarding, playing cricket or whatever else takes your fancy.

We want as many people to come as possible. This will be a great opportunity to show support for our senior teams, have some fun, get to know someone new (or old) AND kick off Soar 2010 as a strong, committed and unified Club.

Out of the 21 players who played for Flagstaff against Cove today 19 played junior footy at the club. Leigh Ward and Simon Zacpal are the only 2 "new guys".

And from the B's, 16 were FHFC Juniors -the 5 who came to the club as Seniors were Jason Strout, Luke Stewart, Craig Seib, Chris Cormack & Andrew Wong.

The retention of our juniors progressing into Senior footy is really pleasing to see.

Morphett Vale have been doing it for years. We had 1 player in the A grade this week who didn't
play a junior game at M/Vale, that was Shane Hill snr. Came to M/Vale as a 17 year old and went straight to seniors.
In the B grade Nick Edwards moved into the M/vale area when he was 18.
Every one else played juniors at our club including A grade asst coach and B grade co coaches.
We don't go out and chase players but new players are all ways welcome.
Have also developed some quality footballers for other clubs.

It's rather poor form going on another clubs thread to post about the brilliance of Morphett Vale. Feeling insecure?
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

That's fantastic 85!!

How's Peter McMaster going?
A grade?

I played in a losing U17s grand final team for Marion in 2002 and i am one of two of that entire squad left playing for the club.
Dissapointing.

Good point but this sort of thing happens quite often, one thing leads to another, I was just continuing from the previous post, if we all just sit back there would be nothing to read. And no it is not a matter of feeling insecure, I think the point was being made by Öld Man Emu" that Flaggies are heading in the same direction as Morphett Vale have and not a bad direction to take.

Not only is Pete "Poo" McMaster, playing As, hes the club captain. playing some great footy.. awesome leader on and off the ground. Poos also co-coaching our Sunday U16s side with another senior player. Poos another great homegrown player making sure that the future is bright for the Mighty Falcons.

To the Flagstaff Hill Committee and the the Red Army ,
I was at last Sundays U16's which was a good game until your faithfull supporters started throwing abuse to the Umpires. I thought this supporter should have been told either to leave or after the game be made to apoligise to this particular umpire ( Green Shirt "Learner" ).But once again some Parents only have tunnel vision.

Poo you and your staff will have to control or Flagstaff hill club must reminded parents its not acceptable to abuse Umpires (as you know the umpires will always have the last say as your team found out what 2 ,25 meter penality and then a centre break given to opposition, it can hurt you if this was a final.
So ii hope your club sorts it out
Not happy with this persons attitude

Patrol, Club Officials and Under 16's Coaching Staff were obviously not happy with that individuals behaviour, it has been handled internally at FHFC and hopefully won't be happening again.

Not much else has to be said on here, except that the club agrees with what you have said and it isn't acceptable. Couple of cracker games in the 14's and 16's though hey?
