ol man emu wrote:Great week end of football at emu park.
Started on saturday with our sunday under 14s and 16s team playing and beating Reynella.
Then on Sunday our saturday under 14s and 16s team beat Reynella. All going to plan.
Then Dave [The greatest accountant in the world] Murdock and his under 18s spoilt the party beat us.
Our Bs making amends for that.
At 2.30 after the playing of the last post and a minute of silence, the game we had been waiting
for.
Full credit to Reynella they came to play, Dave[I need a challange] Earl had them cherry ripe.
They were hungrier than Scott Mooney in a pie shop. They were more accountable than
DVM accounting. The way they were playing it was more scary than Peter Hislop looking into the mirror on a sunday morning.
Not to sure about Ellija [I] Ware [black pants] winning the anzac medal. Did play well but don't
think he was best.
No excuses Emu's were at full strenth, may be a bit under done. Can play better than that and will bounce back.
Very disapointed with the last game, never want to lose anything to reynella.
Great to have a fantastic weekend of football.
Emu park was packed to rafters.
That is the sort of football we want to see.
