If Hackham beat Morphy Parks this weekend, what do you think will happen to the coaching staff, etc? You're saying sack the coach, but does the club have anybody else to step in right away that would make any more of an improvement...maybe wait til the end of the season when there are a lot of people out looking for coaching positions..

This is not a kneejerk reaction to 3 bad games.
It is another 2 seasons as well with lots of money spent and 8th place is our best finish.
The coach is not entirely to blame, but he does the recruiting, and i guarantee those recruited players wont take any of the responsibility.

With the talk about a new coach what would be the chance of getting either Bruce Lindsay or Steve Myer back to the club both excellent coaches that would do a great job or even getting back a favourite son of the club Ben Porter.

Some calls for Mueret's head on saturday i would think he's in big trouble unless he can turn it around quickly.

On another note very brave effort from Wiese playing after recieving 20 odd stiches the week before. He looked like a mummy even before the first bounce and copped an early knock too but continued to play up forward. Very gutsy.

I wouldn't have thought they could do with the week off. Are the twisties just running out of legs or is it something else? What were numbers like at pre-season?

Bloody ordinary for the most of it.
Fitness & mental capacity would be the main reasons for our fade outs.
I won't use injuries for excuses, but M/Vale are losing too with injuries, so they do impact

Vale Kym Bainbridge.
One of the most honest, caring & forthrite people I have known.
Good mate.
Good father.
My heart goes out to Rachael & the Boys.
Will be a big gap to fill at Roo Park.
A sad, sad day.

Very, very sad indeed ! Kym was a one of a rare breed, one of those great blokes who you meet through footy who make an indelible impression. He had a genuine love of the game and a genuine concern for everyone involved.
My condolences to Kym's family, MPFC, and all who were close to him. He will be sadly missed around the SFL.
