Are you still playing on that postage stamp you call a football oval?!?

Do they still wear twistie packets for guernseys?
Only oval I've ever played on where one wing/pocket is 10 times bigger than the other side.

I used to wear that twisties packet!

I recall a U17's game I played there once when our rover won the ball from the centre ruck contest, took about 3-4 paces and kicked a goal! That oval should not be used in senior footy...

I must admit their North Melbourne Kangaroos guernsey despite still having god awful colours is a huge improvement on the thing that they used to wear when I played them in the 90s which was basically a red top with 2 vertical yellow stripes on one side either with white or yellow shorts.

Thats the one, and I still have my U17's sitting in my draw! Doubt it would fit me now...

I used to like playing there although we got flogged every time. One of my last matches was there, I'd just turned blonde, I was overweight and about 10kgs too heavy for the white shorts I was wearing, christ I copped it from the social club when I almost coat hangered a guy in front of them (but missed as too slow). Very funny comments though and I loved every minute of it!
I think Morphy Park was the only team in the Southern League (C Grade) I never played a winning game against. We might have snuck one at home but my memory is poor.
A couple of the Morphy blokes used to always make a point of having drinks after the games with us be it home or away, seemed like a good club.

G'day All,

Morphettville Park is still training on Monday's and Wednesday's. Plenty of new boys are coming out and the club is still looking for plenty more.
Every-night we are training with the footy's.

Go the Roos.
