My wedding anniversary

Incredibly Ive convinced the wife that this would be a great way to celebrate, tickets purchased. :)

Get the Uber to a nice B&B at Alberton. Has a pool and I'm sure the cooked brekky will be a treat, just look for the cable ties :)

Whitlams - Gov last night
25yr anniversary of Love this city album.
Absolute brilliant night. Definitely one of their better efforts.
Wasn't quite sold out last night, tonight is.
Went for 2.5hrs

Sounds by the River Mannum on Saturday -

Eskimo Joe - 1st time Ive seen them, quite enjoyed it 7/10
Bachelor Girl - missed them
Killing Heidi - Still sounds great, good entertainer 7.5/10
Baby Animals - Suzi my teenage crush :) lost a bit of their edge but nostalgic 6/10
Wolfmother - Best on ground, guitar clinic, still in their prime, went down the front and loved it 9/5/10
Noiseworks - Still pretty good, took us back to the 80's and put on a good show 8/10
Icehouse - Iva's voice is struggling, he talks more than sings these days, but their production makes up for it, classic sax was awesome 7.5/10

Overall a solid day/night, had to cop 38 degrees on the head until the shade came over around 5pm, $12 beers and $15 spirits - thought I was back at AO.

When the next Sounds is announced check the availability of these places :

https://www.rivershackrentals.com.au/pr ... riverlane/

It is expensive that weekend and you only get 2 people per apartment, BUT, you don't buy tickets, drinks, food and you've got air conditioning if you need it.

We had it booked for 2024 Sounds but Mrs Boon grabbed COVID and we had to cancel. From memory it was around $500 / night but you'd be booking expensive accommodation anyway ( + tickets, drinks etc )
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

Yeah saw that place, incredibly there was no one on the top balcony on Saturday, opportunity gone begging.

There was a place further North that had a party going but they couldn't see the stage so had set up a camera on the roof with a feed down to their TV!

Think I heard an announcement that Crowded House were playing there in Oct
