New Green Day album on the way

Postby TigerBoss » Wed Nov 09, 2005 1:48 pm

Green Day are releasing "Bullet in a Bible"...a 2-disc LIVE tour CD/DVD from a massive sell-out show in the UK. The CD has 20 Live tracks..and the DVD goes for about 160 minutes, featuring interviews, videos, vision from shows, etc.

It's coming out on November 16 to places like JB Hi-Fi and Big Star.

Anyone going to the Melbourne or Sydney gigs in December? I'll be in Melbourne and can't freakin' wait. :D

Some bands just dont know when to die off before they become a joke. GD passed this point about 5 years ago. When you become more about your image and less about your record company controlled music, time to go.

This from an ex fan. Like their old stuff, new stuff is just cock-pop dribble.

Bit harsh there pafc1870,alot of the new stuff I agree,it is aimed at making the charts, with a political spin on them, however, the riffs still rock and Mike can still slap the Bass.I listen to the whole thing, not just the "corporate" aspect.

My favourite Green Day album is the first one they released "1039 smoothed out slappy hours" so I can see your point PAFC and to an extent, I agree that there old stuff is better than their new stuff (cue Regurgitator links)...but their new stuff is still kick ass.

Picked up the new CD/DVD this morning...JB Hi-Fi have it for $26.95...
