Are Brian Jonestown Massacre doing a gig in Adelaide? They are playing Melbourne in late August.

The wombats are doing 2 gigs. Second one is 7th August @ the gov. First one i think is a couple of weeks before at the same venue. Seems like they are the only o/seas band playing splendour and also playing adelaide.

British India are also playing the gov on august 1.

MatteeG did you head along to NUFAN/Strung Out? I was absolutely desperate to go but had a work show I couldn't get out of.

Saw Strung Out with Bad Religion a few months ago, an AWESOME show.

Yep- well worth the effort.

NUFAN are underrated- they played mainly older stuff which everyone loved. Still no "Daily Grind" though- I wont rest until I hear it live!

Strung Out played a great set which covered something out of every release I reckon, and were on stage for a good 90 minutes... Didnt get home til 1.

The BR/SO/MYC show you mentioned was sensational- one of the best shows I have been to I reckon.

Well DEVO were great Monday night - accept they seemed to lose the plot on the last song. I've forgotten how musically good they are.

Backed up very ably by Regurgitator. What a great band they are. They've lost one bloke and gained two females - one of which was the drummer. She was outstanding considering that a lot of the Gurge songs are drum intensive.

I thought that it was classic DEVO with Booji boy singing the entire Beautiful World track at the end.
De-EVOlution! GOLD!

also DEVO's drummer kicked arse. He was like a bloody metronome.

I thought the Gurge were great too.
