Is there anything that happens before, during it after a game that's brand new and never been done before? No. Even Kevin Sheedy "ripped off" the jacket waving thing, which had been done many times before in other sports and even by West Coast supporters prior to him doing it. The club has spoken publicly about the song before and said a member of their board I think it was went to the US and heard it before a game of grid iron and thought it would work well for Port.

"Looked horrible"?

40,000 people united as one, standing together. Mate, seriously.....

I suppose Jacko's "I'm an individual" would be too ironic then...

Port have upped the ante massively and the West Lakes crew are currently floundering, especially since they adopted the 19th man rubbish.

This.

Suck it up Crows supporters, Port are doing things better than you at the moment. I know what sounds more like a united footy club, and it's not a bird squawking in the background.

I went on Saturday night as a neutral, and although the singing from the crowd wasn't as loud as I thought it might've been, give it 12 months and it will be massive. Good on Port for trying something, it shouldn't really have a massive impact on what the players are doing but if it enhances the experience for the fans then it's only a positive thing for their footy club.

Minus the very decent turnout of Bomber fans. Plenty of red and black in parts of the Eastern stand

Plenty of similarities between the supporters ;)
