A couple of very interesting gigs there.

I dare anyone going to the BJM gig to stand at the front and shout out how much you love the Dandy Warhols. ;)

Adler's Appetite are playing GNR's Appetite For Destruction in full and includes a Q&A session with Adler and his mother too.

I see you've seen that documentary Dig! Anton Newcombe's a complete lunatic.

If you'd never heard of the BJM or the Dandys you'd have sworn 'Dig!" was another "Spinal Tap"-esque mockumentary, it's so bizarre.

Yeah, reckon it could be worth a look. The interview with his mum sounds very interesting, perhaps more so than the music. She's also written a book about her perspective of Steve Adler's decline and fall.

I went also, never got into Chisel but grew up with his solo stuff, was a pretty good night learning about his troubles which I wasn't fully aware of, the timelines on his story in the last half hour of the show weren't clear but someone said that its only in the last few years he has got his shit sorted out.

Was a good night.

Not what I was expecting but a good night out. Some funny stories but also some very confronting ones. My mate and I just kept saying "how the hell is he still alive?".
