Already organizing a bus, if any of you on here are interested and have a small group ( say 4-8 ) who would think about joining another group of 4-8 to get a 20 seater, let me know.

@Dutchy

All over this show. I can't believe Tumbleweed are coming on at 4.00pm... I don't think I've seen them in daylight.

Got my tickets today.
Can't wait for this.

Regurgitator & Seja & Mindy Meng Wang perform The Velvet Underground & Nico

Dig your way back into The Velvet Underground with a mishmash of funk, punk, pop and electronica.

Australian band Regurgitator collaborate with German/Australia musician Seja, and Chinese guzheng player Mindy Meng Wang to re-interpret 1967’s classic album The Velvet Underground & Nico produced by Andy Warhol.

2017 marks the 50 year anniversary of this seminal album release. What better way to celebrate than hearing one of Australia’s most iconic indie music groups reimagining the influential album which fused together pop melodies and avant-garde sounds – all tied up in lyrics about drugs, prostitution, sadism and cultural abandon.

Space Theatre, Adelaide Festival Centre (OzAsia Festival)

Friday 29th September

Speaking of Regurgitator bassist Ben Ely has just released his new solo album 'Strange Tales of Drugs & Lost Love' which you can download for free/name your price:

Have you guys got a group of you going down or just two's and four's?

You can get a bus from Franklin St for about $40 return, or, there's about 6 or 8 of us going we could look at a 20 seater?

My father-out-law drives for a bus company and I'll be getting some numbers from him. Interested?

I figure if we get our own bus we could have a couple on the way down, organize some munchies for on the bus on the way home and pretty much do door to door.

We're all basically in the Port area ( Seaton, Alberton, Semaphore -1 couple at each location ).

Hey Boon- I'm only about 15 mins from the winery with a designated driver so we are sorted (4 of us). Cheers for the offer though- if it was at Lehman's the other way I'd have been in for sure.

I'll discuss with them and get back to you.

Funnily enough, with my first ever pay cheque, I bought Veruca Salt's American Thighs, The Lemonheads' The Best of the Lemonheads: The Atlantic Years, and Sex Pistols' The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle.

A clown got a little bit too excited at the Dune Rats concert at Thebarton Theatre last night.

A LEAP of faith by an overexcited concertgoer ended in disaster on Wednesday night when the man launched himself off a four-metre-high balcony in a crazy crowd-surfing attempt, instead landing face-first on the floor.

Green Day's American Idiot the musical is coming to Adelaide starring Grinspoon's Phil Jamieson.

AMERICAN Idiot, the smash Broadway musical based on the music of punk band Green Day, is headed to Adelaide.

And to make sure there’ll be plenty of real rock ’n’ roll spirit in the show, Grinspoon frontman Phil Jamieson has been given a leading role.

Despite spending 20 years belting out hits like Chemical Heart and Lost Control fronting the Grinners, Jamieson said he had plenty to learn before he could play his character of St Jimmy.

American Idiot, Her Majesty’s Theatre, January 19-28, 2018. Tickets on sale on October 9 at bass.net.au or on 131 246

Mrs Boon's "Hall pass" is Phil Jamieson, we've seen Grinspoon around 15 or 16 times ( could be more ) and seen Phil at least 4 times doing solo shows, apparently we secured front row seats for this on Friday.

Will be breaking my musical duck. Not sure about it...

You going to Me First and the Gimme Gimme's Friday night, yes?

If so you can expect no Chris Cheney ( The Living End ) as he's currently in hospital looking decidedly unwell.
