Believe it or not even this musical philistine was saddened. I might not be a music guru like you guys but they still helped me get through my teens back in the 70's...and I still have my original vinyl copy of Rainbow Rising.

RIP the best vocallist of metal. He puts em all to shame. His star turn with Sabbath on Heaven in Hell in particular is a tour de force. His Holy Diver album rocks hard STAND UP AND SHOUT.
