St. Elmo's Fire always reminds me of this...

Politicians kissing babies for good luck,
TV preachers sell salvation for a buck.
You don't need no golden cross to tell you wrong from right,
The world's worst murderers were those who saw the light.

There was a group called 5ive, can't say I heard of an adult band called Hi five. ;)

You mean the same band that sung:

"When the lights go out" and "Everybody get up"?

Is that the same version with Jon Stevens and John Farmham? If so, I love it too.

I really enjoy this song, as it reminds me of the 1992 Summer Olympics. It was the first games I can remember.

No, they sang the above song but probably their best known was "I like the way (the kissing game)" as well as "cant wait another minute". Unfortunately the lead Tony Thompson passed away at 31 in 2007 - they had been inactive since mid '90's anyway - but most of remaining members have since got back together and released a new song last year. They were huge in America at the time but received no promotion here in Australia.

FWIW, the above group started as young teenagers in 1990, where as the kids group Hi5 didn't start 'til 1998.
