Personally, I think this is great.

Just bring back Ang Catterns and Frankie Leach with Myf, and happy days. Would like the old, non-pompus Mikey Robbins and Helen Razer back as well, but they are too far gone.

Biggsy still does a show on RRR-FM "On the blower" every friday morning. The best show on RRR by a mile. He's also MCd a few gigs I've put on. A very funny and great bloke.

Yep, Triple J never recovered from the purge...suddenly there were all these cuddly pseudo-celebs like Catriona Rowntree and Michael Tunn and the focus shifted from music from a counter-cultural perspective to playing effing Crowded House. I did an interview as a very green journalism student with Maynard about it in the 90s after he was moved on...played the clown on-air but was such an awesome guy. Did the whole interview over when I realised my tape recorder had flat batteries :)

Catriona Rowntree's cleavage is wasted on radio.

For that reason, I love watching Getaway reruns on Foxtel. For some reason, her head shits me though...

I have that book. He was bonkers - I follow him on Twitter and he puts up some stuff from the 90s quite regularly.

Looking forward also but how long before it's awash with the back log of Aussie artists trending towards the Triple J sound
