Sad news. A man with a lot of demons who wore the scars of a lot of substance abuse.

Along with Johnny O'Keefe, one of Australia's first true rock n' roll frontmen.

A legend.

Bizarrely we were talking about him and the life he had lead on Christmas night. I even played one of their LPs.
Everyone in our discussion thought he'd already died. I was happy to say he was still alive, but fighting ongoing demons.
Right up there with JO'K and Billy Thorpe in forming the origins of Australian popular music. Rock n roll DNA.
