It was happy days for Poon, Ecky and the Captain who managed to grab a win during a bye round where there were upsets aplenty in the Premier League. The big upset was The Willies bursting the previously inform Swingmen’s bubble while Sharks did likewise to the previously inform Inner Sanctum. Then, in another unlikely result, the best eighteen scenario helped the REBCats topple @FISH, a team who cleaned up the Cats in about eight leagues last season. Some wins are sweeter than others my FISHy friend! Mediocre smashed out a decent score on the weekend to climb off the bottom of the ladder and DAISY continued on with his good form after they saluted in a high-quality clash against Hondo who is specialising in high scoring losses over the past few seasons. With six to play you could not write off any team from making the finals but HORNEY would need to get cracking if they are to make an impact, ditto Butters and Mediocre. A couple of teams are on the slide at the moment in Pool Swimmers and Summer of George but I’m tipping a Pool Swimmers win this week seeing as I can’t win two matches in a row FFS. At the top of the ladder, Poon is sailing along majestically….history shows that @hambone can’t be stopped!
