I let my team go last year for a few weeks at a time and had no dramas but doing the same this year killed the Fingers. Finish 9th by percentage, leaving Riewoldt, Fisher and Goddard on the bench for weeks after their bye was a big mistake.

Yes those byes have made it more difficult. One week I looked up the team to have the bye and then took all the players off from a different team for my three teams. On Monday morning I just looked in amazement.

hmmm, and I'm not the most confident either... If I recall correctly I beat you during the minor round last year and you knocked me off in the prelim... I reckon I beat you earlier this season too...

Best of luck mate.

I reckon anyone in the 8 could take it out but Alaska and his Lions must be odds on favourites...
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Sorry NG, but look like history has repeated. Hopefully we both still end up with promotion like last year! :D

Looking at this weeks elimination finals there are some interesting matchups.
The Lions take on Rioli, with two very different teams both have the Swanies ROK and Goodes which is good because I am bit worried about their potential scoring this week.
The Lions have Enright to worry about and Rioli, Chapman with the bye.
Key matchups include Lions - Broughton, Suckling, Dal Santo, Priddis, McEvoy and Pav vs Rioli - Heppell, Hurn, Judd, Mitchell, Ryder and Petrie

The Dogs take on Deckens in the 2nd Elimination Final and again two very different sides, with the Dogs having to cover Zac Smith and Stevie J and Deckens having to caver for Bartel. Key matchups include Dogs – Gibbs, Birchell, Pendles Priddis, Ablett, Judd, Pav and Goodes vs Deckens – R. Murphy, Suckling, Swan, Mitchell, Cotchin, Kreuzer, Silvia and Rioli.

In the 3rd Elimination Final Destiny Uncles look to be in all sorts of trouble vs Crammit as they have Enright, Selwood, Stevie J, Newman and Lower all out.

The final Elimination final sees the Sharks in real trouble as well having to do without Enright, H. Taylor, Lower, Z. Smith and Chappy, whereas their opponent The Willies only have to cover Bartel.

Well Milky very similar sides with the Starting Forwards being identical so we will both have to scramble if Silvia and Pav both miss.
You have Murphy and Gibbs on the bye whereas I only have Gibbs.
That leaves Enright and Stanley taking on Suckling and Grundy in Defence.
And our midfield differences in Redden, Hodge, Montagna and Swallow taking on Dal Santo, Swan, Priddis and Boyd.
Of course this is all before trades and you should be able to get some pretty good replacements for your high prices Blues.
I am in a bit of a dilemma with my two trades this week do I take a risk on a potentially high scoring player or go for someone more consistent? :?

A solid analysis Alaska, however the carnage has hit early this week & the scramble is on! Broughton, Sylvia & Pav already confirmed out & this is way before thursdays teams
