Dream Team 2009

Postby Stumps » Thu Feb 05, 2009 2:59 pm

Anyone out there into it yet?
The set up and speed of AFL.com.au has improved dramatically - although demand would be low at the moment. Below are my top 5 buys . If anyone starts up a safooty league let me know the code

Value

Taylor Walker- Should play games this year and a steal at 100K
Kreuzer- Should improve from last year and 200K cheaper than cox- should play alot of minutes
Jed Adcock- Supposedly flying and back to his form from 2007
Adam Thompson- should play and get alot of tackles
Kyle Cheney- wraps on him- look at NAB form

I've got three of these blokes in my side. Normally a SC man but I play DT for the Eliminator. I like the 'Shield' that's pretty cool.

One more time, if any of you blokes are interested in SC at all let me know cos I'm still looking for coaches to join our Hogg Shield competition. If anyone needs any additional DT coaches to join a league PM me with your league code as I have two slots for my DT side Purrrrrrrrrrrrrfect.

cant believe that kerr and judd are cheaper than players like bryce gibbs(sorry to point out gibbs, but easy to compare as he's on the same team as judd), thought they were absolute bargains. Scott lucas i thought was quite cheap aswell around the 220 - 250 mark i think, can take a lot of marks and kicks a few bags here and there. Another one i thought was intersting was Skipworth, i think he'll play a bit this year, not a bad price.

Coughlan is a Bowen Lockwood style Lemon. He's cheap for a reason. Better off downgrading to a decent kid or upgrading to someone who can get his arse on the field. Not touching him.

Yeah with his 81st injury, I feel for the guy he just gets injuried all the time. And as REB said is very bowen lockwood like, has plenty of ability but just cant keep the body right.

Lockwood's injury was very different to Coughlan's.

Knees come good ....... sometimes. I'm taking the gamble. What's to lose?
