It was a close call as a lot of my so-called "premium" players let me down. If it wasn't for Deledio 163 and Goodwin 139 I would have gone down. Cub also had Bock and SJ injured which was bad luck. I see my score probably wouldn't have been enough in div 1 or premier.

Basically, phew ....

Bad luck Quichey :( . Well done REB in making both grand finals.

Lost all 3 prelims that my supercoach side was in by under 50pts. Also lost 2 Dreamteam Prelims! Some soulsearching to be done in post season, lookin to bounce back in 2010.

Next year is going to be tough. Instead of percentage builders against Blue Boy and wonder elephants we will be trying to knock off darcy and the Squeakeroos.

Cheers mate. Well done yourself. I reckon I'll lose them both next week in true Geelong fashion.

I'm gutted. My defence has been a worry all year and it finally bit me in the arse, only Hodge scored above 100, the rest scored below their averages.

I wonder how I'll go putting a team together next year, being well out of the pre-season loop on my way to Timbuktu :?

I am absolutely devastated. 2274 would have beaten REBcats and his opponent in hogg shield! however i was not strong enough in div 1. Came from 7th and put in some good performances to get to the Prelim. Woulda been great to be in the HS next year but its not too be, and im looking forward to the challenge of winning Div 1 next year.

Good luck to all sides in Grand Finals.

Now now, CoverKing. You don't win anything from outscoring me once in 18 weeks. 8)

REB I lined up our teams and put in rough expected scores and it was a draw!

Our defence is very similar, I think I have an edge in my midfield but your forwards and second ruck are better than mine

Port mathematically in the hunt Booney...yes!

But hey whats the point of finishing 9th as you will probably do this year.

Trust me, from experience it means SFA ;) Will get a mid range first round pick (average draft pick as the draft is weak as ever this year), just look for port to go further down in the next two years. Atleast richmond cant go to much lower
and iv followed Richmond since iv known of the AFL and i think the only two spots we have finished are 9th and 16th with a couple of different years in between :?
