I have Pav, Ziebell and Fev. Ziebelll goes this week.

REB, do you think Stevie J is going to get some consistency back? He's $446K but he is scoring like Fev recently. Harvey or Davey look much better options for an extra $30K at this stage.

Davey is probably the best choice but Stevie J aint finished yet. I reckon he'll score well against the Saints and there might also be a possibility that Bailey will realise they aren't kicking goals even though Davey is racking up the disposals and shift him up front again. Not too sure about Harvey, he's had one good match all season so he wasn't exactly in top form before he got hurt.

Cox might miss out again this week. I hope he keeps missing out as I have him on the bench. ;)

I reckon they need to amend these games to include an Interchange bench, so if one of your players cops an injury early (for eg, Adcock this week) he can be replaced by a higher scoring "Bench" player (if you have one), as opposed to the Emergencies that only replace those who don't lineup

Yes, I copped a 3 from Josh Drummond 4 weeks ago and it cost me my league match.

If they get injured without scoring at all, then the bench player comes in. Harvey, Hille and Pendlebury had this happen this season.

So if they get a few stats and then get injured it's a huge disadvantage compared to them getting injured in the first 4 seconds (assuming you have bench cover).

Another option could be awarding captaincy (double points) to either your Captain or Vice depending on who scores more ... Imagine if you have an Adcock as captain (naturally talking example here) scores you 10 and your opponent's skipper scores 380, right there and then 1 player could cost you a game.

I'm guessing nothing will change, it will just force you to have an even representation of players from all teams.

I think they'll give us a bigger bench. Apparently that's what they do in other fantasy comps where there's an odd number of teams.

Bigger bench means a bigger salary cap. As you say, we won't be able to load up on guns from 1 team.

will have to be a significantly bigger bench, you could have 6 guys from one team in your DT and if they have the bye your stuffed

will be interesting to see how they work it

Why change anything? Maybe add a couple of extra trades but that would be about it. Who cares as long as the rules remain the same for everyone. They won't put too much work into it as the year after we have 17 teams in the comp we'll have 18 so it will be an inconvenience rather than a revolution.

HIGGINS! Quite a few held on to him after his mid-season scare, but this latest niggle would be at least 2-3 weeks and an inevitable trade.

Yep, I only have Sellar to cover Higgins and I can't see him lasting much longer either. Lol.

Where was Nathan Grima on the weekend?

And Lindsay Gilbee?

Grima was dropped. Gilbee withdrew because his father passed away.

There's also concern over Newman and Judd for this week apparently. Haven't heard anything official.
