- a rolling lockout where changes can be made post 7pm Friday night so long as the players' teams haven't played yet
- positional swapping for dual position players (without burning a trade presumably)
Both would be good changes for us coaches. We'll have to wait and see.

Players with the same dual postioning (ie. mid/back) will be able to be swapped without a trade. Good in principle, but most of the elite players have single classifications only

It would appear both the above changes apply to DT, but only the positional swapping change applies to SC? As far as I can tell after reading the rules of both anyway. Pity, the partial lock out rule is an excellent change.

ie. player A has
B.Harvey and M.Pavlich (both mid/fwds)
while player B has
R.Griffen and M.Pavlich (pav only Mid/fwd)
now Pavlich gets injured and both players decide to trade. Player A gets to swap him into the midfield for Harvey and get to trade for any Mid or Fwd they want, While player B having no Mid/Fwd has to trade out Pav for a fwd line player. Player A by picking another mid/fwd has the advantage of 2x trading options.

There is a SC partial lockout for Round 1 and for the split round.
