Count yourself a bit unlucky Dutchy ... Montagna and Dal Santo scored about 350 between them compared to 150 between them last week. Scores of 175ish from midfielders are rare and to get 2 in 1 week in my team is unheard of.

on my estimates we were very even on paper - so much so I traded when I might have waited otherwise.

Preliminary Finals

CoverKing's Army 2358 d.Woodys Dropkick 2238
Hondominators YSCC 2375 d. Dutchy's Dodos 1932

Congratulations to Hondo and CoverKing who have now qualified for Hogg Premier League in the 2011 season. CoverKing has won through on his second attempt after falling short last year and Hondo has now been promoted for the second straight year after he appeared in the Piglet Shield in his first season back in 2008.

Woody has fallen short once again when it comes to SuperCoach success in August and next year he'll be once again one of the promotion fancies in Hogg Division I. Dutchy has been the most improved coach this season but his effort this weekend was an unfortunate slip back towards his 2009 scoring efforts. Along with Woody and Captain Who, The Dutchman looks set to be a force again Division I next year.

There's at least 1 donut each in the div 1 GF!

Brown, Pods, Didak & Hodge being out will be playing havoc with a lot of teams this week
