The lower leagues are starting to get a wriggle on with Hogg III finally getting off their arse and passing Hogg IV with both on the improve. Meanwhile Hogg II with the mighty Daisy leading the way is right behind Hogg I. Elite are back in the top 100 but Hogg Premier shit itself, which is what happens whenever my mob get a win.

Two weeks ago Daisy was challenged by Hondo and Buddy Franklin but they have hit back in emphatic style this week with a massive score of 2415 which I believe is the best of what has been a very tough SuperCoach season. Daisy is going strength to strength at the moment leaving his Divvy II and indeed all of us in his wake. Daisy is going so well I almost wish the Hawks would start winning again so someone else could take over the mantle.....nah...screw it..go Daisy!

Something strange is happening at the bottom. They aren't as far behind as they used to be. With so many dud teams pulling the pin and those that were shit lifting their game it is now a real battle to avoid the Hogg scoring spoon. Current holder brettsrazorbacks isn't a bad side but they badly missed a rather large contingent of Port players which dragged him back down. iSwitch welcomed back Dane Beams and Zork and Daniher also fired for Lily which was more than enough to breeze by bretty this week. My money for the scoring spoon is Jacks Stars who while steady, never seem to crack an even reasonable score.

Yeah I was thinking about the best you could hope to pick up each week in absolute best case scenario would be about 100points. Given that if youre near the top you probably have similar teams. Nailing the captain and any emergency loophole situations is key

Daisy's out to a massive 296 point lead after Buddy's wipeout in Round 9 of the head to head matches. Shanes Superboots scored over 1900 but he was pipped by fellow Divvy IV combination Cobras who topped the Hogg with 1938. Lucky REB copped the cobras in our family league ACK. Bottom of the pile this week was Leisas Lovelies who scored 934 after electing to brazen it out with no skipper or vice captain this week. It was a bold strategy Cotton, but one that didn't come off as they lost to the new caboose BrenDamage by 200.

A tough week in SuperCoach but up a little from the week before as most teams had over 18 to choose from. 25th ranked Summer of George topped the scoring this week with 2068 in a round where not too many scored 2000. A special shoutout to Division V side woolballs who scored 2006 which is bad luck for Hotshots copping two grand in a bye week in Divvy V. That's a bit rude really.

Top of the ladder Daisy continuing to press on but Shanes Superboots are within striking distance if the Hawk were to falter but he hasn't looked like doing that except for a few dodgy weeks a while back when some Premier League guys briefly overtook him.

The top four divisions of this comp are pretty competitive and the lower grades have improved since the start of the season with the teams at season high rankings in bold. Division I and II are far in advance of previous seasons as top coaches from the lower grades were pushed up to fill what was a large number of gaps. Meanwhile in Divvy III and IV, others have stood up and the gap between last year and this is slowly reducing. My family league has never been higher ranked than that and Hogg V smashes the lowest Hogg league from last year.

Daisy has looked vulnerable throughout the Bye period but perhaps that is how he will be for the rest of the year as Daisys Duds seek the Holy Grail. Beware, many a brave Knight has perished on such a quest! Meanwhile, Daisy is being stalked by Division IV combo Shane's Superboots who are having a walk in the park in Divvy IV and may yet pluck a Daisy before the season is out.

If you have ever wondered how tough Premier League is (and Elite is even tougher) spare a thought for the 3rd, 5th and 7th ranked teams in the Hogg as they all got rolled this week! Meanwhile, 104th ranked iSwitch won all of her games this round. Speaking of battlers, hats off to The Willies who scored 440 this round, the second lowest score in Hogg history and the lowest score in the Hogg for five years. The Willies went from 97 last week down to 102 so not too much of a battering in terms of rank.
