Nat Fyfe - Hold or Heave?

Postby Rik E Boy » Mon Jun 05, 2017 12:59 pm

This might be a better thread for next week when Freo have their bye but there is something rotten in the Heritage Club tonight. Not only is Fyfe not really busting the packs the way he used to before his injury but Ross the fantasy football poison has parked him for extended periods in the forward line. While no one cares that Mundy is copping half that shift we've been robbed of our el Cheapo premo. **** sake Roscoe!

It might even be too late to heave him. His price is now below 500k which shows you how much he's dropped off the pace. I reckon more than a few will jump off when Nat has his bye next week.

I cannot see how you can get rid of him now. You just have to hope he does a Treloar and recovers. You have lost so much and cash generation is critical this year. One issue I have is with the lack of rookie DPP’s when I needed them, which will hinder my flexibility after the byes. I also have to hope others I have in the team start to pick up as well. Then all I hear is everyone is picking them up now as they are fallen premiums. Doh. #-o

I have him but no chance I am heaving him... underperformed yes but can't be sideways trading him until I upgrade Otten, Stewart, Myers, Greenwood. That will take me at least 10 trades, probably 12 to get them to premos due to the lack of cash flow from rookies.. Lucky I have 20 trades up my sleeve, and going to put the foot down now and start trading.. No chance of finals in HOGG but should escape relegation. Cash league I am in I am only 1 game outside the 8 so perfectly poised to make the finals (won it from 5th last year)

Heaved him before last round and bought in J Selwood, looks injured, lucky to hit his foot with some of his kicks.
I reckon if Freo drop out of the finals race theyll wrap him up in cotton wool. They might not take him to Brisbane this week. He might spike for a couple weeks after the bye when hes a bit fresher
