Will there be a Division V for those ravaged by injury and poor form who got dumped from Division IV?

18 Ingle Farm Felons 1853

Off in running in Divvy IV and it's the Hawkers away to the fast start. The Tiges have bounded out of the blocks as well, can't believe Stewie is scoring well he's a complete spud. Wide open this league.

Week 2

1 Footy Legends 4637
2 The Willies 4541
3 Herbs'N'Spices 4479
4 Hawkers 4442
5 Go Tiges 4442
6 Elite Jobby 4358

15 Dangerwoodlett 4014
16 Chokin Tuna 3985
17 King Cobwebs 3980
18 Ingle Farm Felons 3932

Don't look know but here comes the Cub. The Footy Legends have been relegated four times in the Hogg but this is a year in which they will be looking forward to getting one back if his pre-season form is anything to go by. Footy Legends are the cubhouse leader of the Hogg this week with a mighty 2480 beating all comers in Premier, Div II, III, IV and V. Fellow Piglet Shield side Herbs'N'Spices also cracked 2400 and Herb would also be considered a strong promotion chance this season.

Early scoring patterns have identified Chokin Tuna, King Cobwebs and the Felons as teams with a bit to worry about but the standard of this league is not particularly strong so plenty of life in some of the slower scoring teams yet. Let the games begin!

It's the young bucks in Division IV who have laid down the early markers in this league with Herbs'N'Spices and Footy Legends leading the scoring this year and both recording strong opening round victories. Footy Legends handed rising star SA Rapids a SuperCoach lesson while Herbie wen bananas in his game to record a solid victory over the 2008 Hogg Premier champion Mr Football. The Willies, Hawkers and go tiges also look like fairly strong contenders in this league but already you can rule a line through the Felons who look miles off it. Chokin Tuna is also struggling to catch anything as they have yet to crack the 2000 mark so far this season.

Never mind HereComesTheSuns here come the Hawkers! The boys in brown and gold are off to a flyer in Division IV after smashing out a solid 2289 in a week that 2100 was good enough to get you the win in most games. Elite Jobby won their first ever Hogg match with a solid win over the battling Ingle Farm Felons and DA HEAT was another side to record a solid win in a round in which there were more than a few lopsided results.

One match that was not a lay down misere was the match between SA Rapids and high flying Herbs'N'Spices. Rapids has been a bit unlucky playing two of the best sides in the division in the first two games and coming off second best each time. Brodlach Jnr has quickly found out Divvy IV is a bit tougher than life in Divvy V. Someone who will soon find this out is Chokin Tuna who have had a shocking start to the year and have been unable to crack 2000 in four attempts. Casey was at it again on the weekend and he got flogged by his nephew as a result.

18 SA Rapids 0 3 5944 6558 90.64 0

The Willies and Footy Legends are the competition front runners after three rounds as the Willies racked up a regulation win against the Felons and Cub had a massive win over fellow finals contender Herbs'N'Spices. King Cobwebs pulled off the big upset as they rolled the previously unbeaten Hawkers in a boilover result which saw them drop to fourth. Just outside the top four DA HEAT racked up the percentage as they smashed rd's Robsquad who haven't shown the good form of last season.

A couple of other sides beside the Cobwebs also had important wins. White Line Fever got off the mark by upsetting top eight Dangerwoodlett and HereCometheSuns would have to consider themselves unlucky to cope 2272 from Chokin Tuna who hadn't cracked 2000 all year. Where did that come from Chris must have been wondering? Brodlach junior is having a case of the second year blues as SA Rapids are currently propping up the ladder, but so was Tuna last week so a week is a long time in SuperCoach.

The top four were the big winners this week as a heap of teams from the top eight stumbled on the weekend. Footy Legends and The Willies have sprinted clear while Red Devils and Herbie also got wins with relatively low scores to take advantage of the top eight carnage. The biggest upset of the carnage matches was when Ingle Farm Felons stole a one point win over the high scoring DA HEAT team who had a poor week and were pipped by the Northerners. The Hawkers dropped their second straight match as the resurgent Chokin Tuna have now stepped up and look set to be a finals contender.

A few teams just outside the eight had important wins. 2008 Premier League champion Mr Football got back on the winners list as did White Line Fever and last year's bolter Robsquad finally showed some of their 2017 form. Go Tiges got back amongst the scoring but ran into the Willies who have improved a great deal this season after last year's shocker. SA Rapids has gone backwards in a big way in the last two weeks and if they can't turn it around a return to Division V looms for the youngster.
