Round 8 - Shuffle those deck chairs!

Postby Rik E Boy » Wed May 09, 2018 1:04 pm

Could it be that Deledio, Walters and Buddy are back? Will Nic Nac get his paddy whack? What's all this talk of resting Nank **** sake the byes are coming up soon Tiges harden up! Will Dusty and Paddy finally crack a half decent score? All these questions and more answered in Round 8. May the least hopeless team win!

Oh dont tell me its somehow going to turn into a 6 week injury?
Can anyone tell me if Buddy has ever been clearly injured during a game. All his "injuries"" are suffered äway from the spotlight for some strange reason, wonder what that could be?
On a completely unrelated matter the AFL wouldnt cut deals for the stars of the game would they, surely not?

Save my trades... when he comes back into my team it is like doing an upgrade that didn't cost any trades
Rather upgrade my rookies on my field first before sideways trading premos (unless they are a LTI)..
In saying that, Rayner to McLean for me this week. Hard to pass up his price and with a low BE he only going to rise in price so jump on on while you can!

No forced changes for "The Bye" this week.

Hardest part is which 3 out of the following will be benched:

J.Graham (131 last week)
C.Spargo (playing GCS)
J.Henry (tonned up last week)
C.Rayner (inconsistent)
B.Fritsch (can produce but inconsistent, him and Spargo is the coin toss)
M.Poholke (for sure)

My midfield is starting to look pretty solid, especially when Parfitt returns.

2 trades this week.
Banfield to Spargo
Holman to Danger
Leaves me with $170k still and 22 trades left.
Still carrying Deledio on the bench.

Harry Taylor went down in Round 1 and has only returned this week. I think we can expect the same layoff for Parfitt. He could be at least another month away which logically would mean a return after our bye.

Happy Catter this week trading in Ronke and Sicily. I loopholed Parker and Ronke though so I'm sweating on no late ins for Barry and the Fog in the showdown. Captain Fyfe after Sicily came up a little short with 110 VC score.
