Round 9 - Shanghai Surprise

Postby Rik E Boy » Wed May 16, 2018 10:23 pm

So the Poower are off to play the national team in China in front of 8000 Aussies and a handful of bemused locals. Just like any other Gold Cost home game really. The Cost aren't especially relevant unless you still have Nick Holman and Port probably only have Sexy Robbie and maybe Westoff who is having a fair season. Will it really matter if they stole a propaganda poster and didn't come back? At least the league would stop picking on Tom Hawkins for a while.

Still a fair bit of carnage and not many mooers on the go either. Could be a case of hold fire if you can.

Regards,

REB

Ship sailed for mine. Save the trade for the week & bring in Phillps from St Kilda next week.

Think this Clarke that's debuting for Essendon will be a good get for a rookie if he keeps his VFL form up.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

I think it has sailed he will end up like all small forwards and spit out high 30's with regularity, once the coaches dissect his game.

Clarke racks them at VFL level, keen to see how he goes. Ridley also making his debut this week for the Bombers

Agreed, gonna need 3 cows to bring him in now. I'll have to pass, I still need to rid my team of Jacobs. Finally pissed of Billings last night, watch him rack it up this week

Yeh if you don't have him already he's gone. Got to wait for him to have a bad game which doesn't look like happening any time soon.

Supercoach hindsight, if only I picked...

Grundy over Jacobs
Macrae over Merrett
McLean over Billings

If only I didn't pick Hibberd. Useless EVERY week. I know rage trading is not good form but I have to bite the bullet. Lloyd smashed me last week.

I did that and still got flogged. I'm a defender short so I can't afford Hibberd to stink it up like he has. The problem is, the forwards I spent my money on haven't fired either so it's amazing I'm in the eight.

I'm leaving forward upgrades until last, mainly because nobody really banging down the door on that front
