Round 10 - Oh how will I replace Robbie's 65?

Postby Rik E Boy » Mon May 21, 2018 10:52 pm

Yes folks another round is upon us and it's a slow boat from China as the Porties and the McFootball Club take the week off. I'm not sure how I'm going to cover Gray's massive score but thank god I don't have Holman scoring points and earning me money! Like many of us I am stricken by underperforming 'premos' such as Hibberd, Martin and Billings. Is it time to cut our losses and feast on the sticky goo inside? I say yes.

regards,

My intention was always to bring in Robbie after his bye round... was tempted early on to bring him in with his consistent scoring..

Team is starting to take shape but just have so many underperforming keepers that I selected which isn't helping..

Hibberd, Mills, Zorko (slowly coming good), Parker, Dusty, Petracca, Billings..

Have held on to them while I focus on upgrading my rookies, once most of my rooks are done these guys will find themselves on the chopping block!

Might need to get rid of Mills now he's OUT for the season.

Yep! Forced my hand.

Was going with Finlayson and Murray originally so considering Murray has been dropped he can stay another week while Finlayson is goneski.

Trouble is who to bring in?!?
McDonald may miss through injury
Lloyd hasn't set the world on fire but with Mills gone he will be the prime mover from the backline now...

Krispy Kreme's has opened in my camp, didn't get enough DPP MID/DEF's at the beginning, if O'Connor got on the park at some stage I would've had flexibility.

so i reckon I'm going with;

OUT
MIlls and Finlayson

IN
Yeo and Webster

leaves me with only $7K in the bank but with 22 trades up my sleeve that isn't such a big drama.

gotta start winning some games though!!!

ah yes good point, he left the field in the 1st quarter against the tigers last week but came back on and finished the game. I also did hear he was in doubt.

I want to bring in a WC, Haw, Carl or WB player to even out my bye rounds so have to consider either Hurn, Sicily or Simpson I guess.. Will know final teams at 430pm today but Elliot could be a late withdrawal so I might stay away

Didn't think about Yeo being a potential late out for the Sunday game.

With Greenwood coming into the Pies side tonight, suspect he may hard tag Macrae - might not be a good VC option this weekend.
