Sub onto the field a zero scoring player and place the C on him, thus getting the VC score doubled. Make sure you place the Emergency on the scoring player you have just benched, in order to get their score also.

Best position to do this is your ruck line, normally your 3rd ruck is a non event for most of the year, enabling coaches to use the 'captains loophole'

For Rucks sake indeed. Goldy and Scott have come in an stunk up my score. Dunkley, Heeney and Mills other blokes on good coin who scored **** all. Not a great week.
