Round 14 - Bye Bye....trades!

Postby Rik E Boy » Thu Jun 20, 2019 8:30 pm

Last round of the byes and so many in contention for the Relton award as Gardener has followed Young, Scott, and Hately into oblivion. It's just as well we can waste another three trades this week.

At it here boyos...

Pretty happy with new recruit Jarrod Cameron.

Not happy with Westhoff being dropped.

I'd like to think of it as calculated trades. :D

I knew there were 3 from about 8 that would be getting the chop this week for the run home. I hope I've done ok.

IN Logue, R.Gray, Boak
OUT Cumming, S.Walsh, Jeremy Cameron

I think the break has dome Robbie some good.

Think you will find he won't play in front of Rioli so may be a one hit wonder and sit on your bench for the rest of the year.. for your sake i hope not!

Im hoping R Gray goes back to the fwd line with Wines back in as I haven't bought him in ;)
Curious as to how you have the trades left to punt someone like J Cameron, presumably it wasnt that long ago that you brought him in?
My trades this week
OUT
B Smith (opting to keep Duursma and Hore ahead of him, i think Milera;s return and Laird back in form has hurt Smith, Hore will be D6, dont have the trades left)
Liberatore
Baker

IN
Logue
Neale (not convinced this is the right move)
Dunkley (back in after trading him out at the beginning)

ROB has created a good headache, need to keep for a couple more weeks to maximise cash, only trouble will be finding a FWD replacement on the bubble when its time to cash in.
8 trades left
2 def and 2 mids short of full premo, going to be another choke in finals

Lloyd and Boak in for me this week...

Leaves me with 12 trades for the last few games and a run through the finals.. only have 2 more spots to upgrade to be complete premiums (or what i think are premiums) so hopefully leave myself with 6-8 trades for finals.

I'm in a similiar boat to you. Unfortunately I missed the ROB train and I think that will cost me any genuine chance in Premier League. That's all it takes up there, one missed Cow and you're battling. I flicked Smith and kept Hore as well. I'm one defender and one forward short but would love Kelly of GWS in as well but can't afford him.

As for Strut that's the worst fantasy side I've ever fielded and I'll be flat out avoiding relegation.

I only needed him to play this week as a bare minimum then happy for him to be my floating MID/FWD donut for the rest of the year.

Having said that I'd prefer him to keep playing and making $$

As Clarko is a Central Districts premiership coach I find it hard to criticise him, but heck, put Sicily down back where he belongs
