Well boyos and chapesses, it's on like Donkey Kong, or at least until a player cops the bug. Several changes this year...

- matches start from round 1
-13 rounds, 4 weeks finals
- you won't play everyone once, finals are from rounds 14-17. All of a sudden the draw is crucial
- no bye rounds. That's a shame NOT
- player prices change after two matches, not three
- shorter quarters 16 minutes I think
- 30 trades

For me this significantly changes the way you go about playing the game. I would suggest that GnR is probably not the way to go this season. Trade burning, mid-priced madness, no byes....year of the REBCats!

Totally agree with your structure, forget the rookies, even considering not picking Rowell

I feel totally unprepared for this.

With shorter quarters what’s a “par” score for a player?

If it starts from Rd1 how do you know who you're playing? My gameday doesn't have an opponent.

Your opponent wont appear until the last game of the round has started

I have the same 4 players too

Anyone else using the loophole for Martin? 126 is hard to gauge with the shorter quarters.

Yeah I have Martin as VC but also have Grundy but at this stage don’t have the balls to risk a solid 126 captain score

Yeah I’ve tried to stick to the consistent players like MacRae over Bont, Cripps and Neale who all do the job week in week out
