LADDER
Blighty Teasdale 32 (106)
Kiwi Krappers 32 (106)
The Bye 28 (107)
Power Rules 28 (104)
Golden Fleece 24 (105)
GETOUTOFMYWAY 20 (102)
True North 20 (101)
ZedForce 20 (101)

Wizard's Sleeves 16 (100)
Ingle Farm Felons 16 (100)
Star Midfield 16 (98)
Ugly Ducklings 16 (98)
Moneybrawl 16 (96)
Killer Wombats 12 (100)
Port For Ever 12 (95)
Liamscrows 8 (96)
JoeKendasMob 8 (95)
HereComesTheSuns (0 (91)

Well didn't round 11 deliver some upsets as the top 3 sides suffered losses, the flag dark horse Golden Fleece were big winners over Kiwi Krappers, while lowly placed Port For Ever and JoeKendasMob accounted for Blighty Teasdale and The Bye respectively.

Liamscrows also enjoyed a rare win as 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th placed teams all won to tighten up the ladder going into the bye rounds.

Power Rules have been in scintillating form recently with 6 wins on the trot while ZedForce have continued their way up the ladder to slide into the 8.

Now for the carnage rounds where anything can happen so I won't even bother making any predictions.

I'll try and find time this week, it would be good if I could just copy and paste all the info from the supercoach website, then I could dribble the rest of my bullshit in no time.

Kiwi Krappers smashed my faith in the game on the weekend, chased me down from the back pocket as I was running into an open goal to enforce the draw.
When I checked again in the morning he won by two points after a point adjustment made at least an hour after the last game of the round   .

ZedForce, GETOUTOFMYWAY, True North and Port For Ever cruising up the ladder lately to make the finals interesting.

Looking at the run home I'll be the one to drop out of the 8.

Well we've made it to the finals and there's been a lot happen since last report although the top 8 remained the same.

FINAL LADDER
Kiwi Krappers 104.7 (56)
Blighty Teasdale 104.5 (52)
Power Rules 104.9 (48)
ZedForce 104.1 (48)
Golden Fleece 102.9 (40)
True North 102.3 (40)
GETOUTOFMYWAY 101.2 (40)
The Bye 102.1 (36)

Ugly Ducklings 100.1 (36)
Port Forever 99.3 (32)
Star Midfield 99.0 (32)
Liamscrows 99.0 (28)
Ingle Farm Felons 97.3 (28)
Wizard's Sleeves 99.8 (24)
Moneybrawl 95.3 (24)
Killer Wombats 97.9 (20)
JoeKendasMob 94.0 (20)
HereComesTheSuns 92.0 (8)

Ugly Ducklings were a bit stiff as they made a late surge for the finals and won their last 4 on the trot but couldn't make up the percentage needed to displace The Bye who went from from bad to worse in the 2nd half of the season.

The first week of finals:

First Qualifying Final: Kiwi Krappers (1) vs ZedForce (4)
With both teams coming off of convincing wins in round 17 and the Krappers compiling 130 more points than Zed you could easily be captivated by just how flawless the KK's team is on paper, and they've had to endure a couple of weeks without Mills.

But then you look further into Zed's line-up and see that he's had no Mills, Greene, Dusty or Highmore, with two of those certain to be back this week I can see the lower ranked side getting up in this huge battle especially given that Zed has lost only once in their past 13 outings, and that was a 3 point loss.

These two have line-ups that could well see them square off in the big dance, it's probably in their best interest to be playing this week.

Tip: ZedForce by 47 points.

Second Qualifying Final: Blighty Teasdale (2) vs Power Rules (3)
Blighty Teasdale have been a bit inconsistent of late but can still pull a big score where Power Rules have been the silent assassin going about their business all year quite nicely and then smashing out a 2619 in round 17.

Blighty has some unconventional players on his list and was let down last week by Bolton, Grundy, Taranto, Merrett, Neale and Adams while Highmore and Greene watched on, so to still smash out 2388 and pants The Bye suggests that I can see a better showing still this week.

Power Rules are super strong, they have Mills to come back in this week and decent coverage in each discipline, it is a well manufactured line-up with plenty of thought going into it, I learn a lot just by looking at as his DPP usage is simply brilliant, even his cheapo's score well.

Tip: Blighty Teasdale by 26 points, with no great conviction though, PR's line up could easily go BANG!!!

Elimination Final 1: Golden Fleece (5) vs The Bye (8)
If it was raining nipples, The Bye would get hit by an arsehole, everything they've touched has turned to shit and 4 times they've traded a player in only for them to be a late withdrawal before even playing a game for the pink and blue.

With both teams scoring similar of late I think it will come down to what trades they can come up with, both teams have some holes to fill already and they both have Greene to come back in and the Bye will welcome back Mills.

Tip: On the back of The Byes horrible form I'm tipping The Golden Fleece by 9 points.

Elimination Final 2: True North (6) vs GETOUTOFMYWAY (7)
Well basically this comes down to how many trades GOMY have, they'll need to replace Walters and Pendles straight up and if there's any more on their injury list then it could be curtains for Dave's mob as there is little other coverage.

True North have some inconsistent fringe players which are probably due to turn it on, they have plenty of POD players that seem to score well and with the addition of Mills back in this week I can see a very competitive score being posted.

Tip: True North by 143 points.

Ahhh, I don't pay enough attention over the weekend to be any good at it, my turning point was one Friday evening daisy shot me a message on messenger telling me to reverse my trades, I didn't read it until too late, both players I brought in were late withdrawals, Salem went shit from there and Hogan just Hoganed up.

But yeah, I'll do a weekly update for the finals, a bit easier with bugger all teams, would be great if we could just dump the info straight from SC then ramble on our own poop.

You're just an absolute legend with the lengths you go to, thanks for running such a well oiled machine, it makes mugs like me want to help out where possible.

Any assistance most welcome. I'm a records nerd so excel is my friend. Yeah it would be great if the html was more exportable but a little (read a lot) of data entry never hurt anyone. Thanks for your help once again. BTW, do you have a league ranking? Haven't updated that cell very often this year.

Well what a week in footy with a couple of cracking semi finals being played while ZedForce and Power Rules earnt promotion to divvy 2 and the week off free of the carnage.

The Kiwi Krapper would've been Krapping big time after Danger went out with 21 while the Golden Fleece were scoring with relative ease from whoever took the field.

The tide started to turn Saturday evening though once Byrnes returned a 31 for the Fleece while Jack Steele amassed a 310 for the KK's with the C next to his name. GF's Sunday got off to a bad start with perennial dud Brockman managing a paltry 14 to pretty much throw the game straight over to KK.

Golden Fleece fought back on Sunday to make Monday night's game well worth watching as KK had a 121 point lead with only Steven May left to play while GF had Nic Nat and Cripps as POD's.

May etched out a 105 to almost match Nic Nat's 107 while Jamie Cripps stunk out a deplorable 50 to hand the Krappers from over the ditch a 69 point win.

Kiwi Krappers 2303 def. Golden Fleece 2234

Well if you thought that was a ding dong battle the other semi between True North and Blighty Teasdale had it all.

With 11 common players and similar line ups it was always going to be harder to pick than a broken nose, this was evident as the game see-sawed all weekend and both captains scored exactly the same.

It all came down to the Monday night game aswell as the BT's had a 12 point lead pre-match with the POD's being Oliver in his corner while Petracca was flying the flag for True North.

Oliver ended up with 98 while Petracca snuck home with 112 to give TN a 1 point victory.

True North 2382 def. Blighty Teasdale 2381

In the B Grade the Ingle Farm Felons defeated Ugly Ducklings by 222 points and the Star Midfield knocked off the Wizard's Sleeves by 116 points.

This week:

League:
ZedForce vs True North
Kiwi Krappers vs Power Rules

Ressies:
Liamscrows vs Star Midfield
Ingle Farm Felons vs Port For Ever

You couldn't have scripted a better preliminary final weekend than how things unfolded in Hogg 3.

First up we had ZedForce who have been gaining momentum for some time now up against True North who after a bit of a mid season lull found form again at the pointy end of the season.

Zed was off to a flyer with Josh Kelly repaying the GWS heirachy with a huge 148 Friday night to go with Short and Cummings' 126 & 105 respectively while TN only had Sydney stack fly the flag with 79.

With no Dusty, Mills or Toby G lining up for the Zed's it was going to be a dour struggle as Highmore and Briggs both sat out too, this enabled the True Northerners to claw their way back into the game despite captain Steele under performing and only managing 200.

TN had Highmore, J.Lloyd and Mills sitting out also.

Aliir (137). Guthrie (133) and Lyons (152) were pivotal in gaining the underdogs the upper hand as they heded into Sunday's fixtures.

All up, it came down to the last game of the round where True North held a 252 point lead with Waterman up her sleeve while Zed had Heppell, Ridley and Merrett still to bat.

Waterman's 58 wasn't quite enough as Zed's trio combined for 325 to take the win by 15 points.

ZedForce 2325 def. True North 2310

The other final saw a low scoring affair as players dropped like flies for both squads and expletives would've been coming out like there's no tomorrow.

The Kiwi Krappers were without Reeves, Stewart, Lloyd and May while Power rules went into battle with no Briggs, Stewart, Lloyd, Mills, D.Williams, J.Madden, Rantall or N.Cox.

Despite the carnage, Power Rules fought on gallantly as Hind and Darcy combined for 283 to give them a red hot go, unfortunately the decision to play Bowes over Bull Durham cost PR as they went down by 38 points in a gripping battle.

Congratulations to ZedForce as he took out the Div 3 Hogg Shield with a come from behind win over the Kiwi Krappers.

Going into Sunday's fixtures the Krappers held a 58 point lead with Grundy, Waterman and Bianco as uncommon players, Zed had DeGoey, Heppell and Goldstein.

As the odds appeared to heavily stacked in favour of Zed, Waterman had other idea's and pulled his finger out of his arse to give the KK's a glimmer of hope, it was all in vain though as Bianco was about as useful as Newcombe and McCreery as the ZedForce ran out winners 2346to 2320.

Liamscrows won the Nothing Cup convincgly as he saved his best til last with an impressive 2534 to 2255 victory over Port For Ever.

Well done Zed, you played the game perfectly this season, good luck in your promotion to div 2.

Awesome work Liam, great back half of the season and finals campaign.
