Round 10 - Stay Out of Trouble!

Finally, the AFL has allowed us mere mortals to view the team lists on Thursday o happy day! Hopefully now, after burning shitloads of trades and making shit decisions, we can now stay out of trouble! If you have recently punted on Toby Green to get out of trouble in your forward line you are probably well aware by now that his shoulder is stuffed and he will be out for a month. The injury to Green is just the latest in a string of injuries to SuperCoach relevant players who have missed four or more weeks and seeing as I only have an hour for lunch I don't have time to list them all.

So who has all of a sudden, become quite relevant?

Dane Zorko - With no Lachie, Zork the magnificent has resurrected his scoring patterns from previous years and with a dearth of premo fwds, he is looking the goods.
Christian Salem - Melbourne are in top form and Salem is generating a lot of run off half back. You could do worse than to become one of the devout and become a Christian follower.
Cameron Guthrie - It's official. The small hairy cat is super premo now. I know this because I can't afford to bring him in.
Callum Mills - Has overtaken the Seagull at the Swans and those that brought him in at the start of the season instead of the more expense Lloyd are making out like bandits

In the 'pull your finger out ' awards voting I nominate the following.

Max Gawn - I started without you, paid more than the starting price after burning trades, now your scoring has tanked. GAGF
Zerrett - Been solid but his performance against the tag last week was alarming. Surely his diminished output was noticed by evil coaches
Dusty - Better last week but the usual slow start for the Dustbin
Anyone who plays for Port - Really you should all know by now to avoid Power players. They are just too even across the board.

In here boyos!

regards,

REB

I fell for the Greene machine after telling myself to avoid him, traded him in for Tex at the right time.

Gonna limp through to the bye round to offload Orazio so watch him rise after then, Bailey Smith is an interesting one, his best and worst are worlds apart.

Thursday night teams

I was about to do the Thomas Nomore and then seen Lachie Jones as a possible player this week, I can keep them both I guess.

With Roo trio Lachie Young, Powell and Lazza all struggling for numbers and probably hitting their ceilings I'll need to focus there a bit more I think, I'm sure Daisy will tell me to tough it out until the bye rounds as I'll thank him later.

haha, I think sound adcvice would be to keep either Powell or Jordon (if you have him, was he the one i told you to hold?) until the very last minute, i can see one of them being M8 in completed teams due to all the forced injury trades and lack of cash generation to upgrade.

Ill be 4 off full premo* after this week with 15 trades and not much cash generation on the benches.

*Full premo by 2021 standards, includes the likes of Cumming, H Clark, Cunnington, Impey

Impey would go close to full premo any year wouldn't he? He makes top six from here surely.

What constitutes premo? Value or Average?

I had two forced changes, brought in Hogan and Salem at the expense of Fanta and Greene.

It allowed me to put Poulter on the field as F6 and move Lachie Young from D6 to sit on the pine in the midfield.

16 trades left with about 60K in the kitty.

Went for Hogan with his 5 BE, short term.

Hogan? Are you crazy? Breaks down at the drop of the hat.

If I can grab $50-$100K by the bye rounds I'll be satisfied.

Might re-assess it later.

I think if your 5.6 fwd/def and your 7/8 mids are averaging 90 its probably good enough to call them a premo in this current season were having
