Starting 11 will be very skillful but would probably be the oldest and slowest squad in the A-League

Probably not a whole lot IMO
The new stadium holds 30,050 and Melbourne Victory membership is going to be capped at 22,000, its currently sitting at 14,357 with still a little over a month until the first home game, based on the membership figures for the last 2 seasons which from memory have been between 22,000 and 24,000 its likely that it will reach that capped figure of 22,000 members resulting in less than 8000 general admission tickets being available for each game (A number will be held for sponsors, away supporters etc)
So i would think that the Victory crowds at Swan St will be up around the 27,000-28,000 mark at least, which is still extremely strong for a league that averages crowds of under 15,000.
Heart crowds will most likely consist of those that are anti-MVFC for various reason, and people who are unable to purchase a MVFC membership and don't want to join the waiting list, you will also probably find a fair amount of Victory supporters/members will attend Heart games, as the 2 Melbourne teams will play at home on alternative weekends.
Overall though i can't really see Heart directly affecting the Victory's crowd numbers that drastically.

Freindly result Wed 14th Jul

Melbourne Heart 0 - 2 Everton

Toffees take Heart from victory

Jack Rodwell and Louis Saha found the back of the net for Everton on Wednesday as they secured a 2-0 friendly win over Melbourne Heart.
The Toffees began their tour Down Under at the weekend following a 1-0 success over Sydney FC and have now made it back-to-back wins.
Everton should have been ahead inside the opening few minutes, but Saha fired a second minute penalty wide after Seamus Coleman had been bundled over by Rutger Worm in the box.
However, the visitors did not let their heads drop and Rodwell put David Moyes' side ahead in the 34th minute when he was well-placed to turn home Coleman's cross.

Failed to threaten
The Heart were playing only their fourth game together and, apart from former Wigan player Josip Skoko's long-range effort in the first half and Eli Babalj's volley in the second, they failed to threaten.
Everton continued to press after half-time and, not long after Victor Anichebe's shot was blocked by Clint Bolton, the Premier League side doubled their advantage.
Frenchman Saha had all kinds of time and space on the edge of Heart's box and calmly fired home to seal Everton's second friendly win in Australia.
The match was Tim Cahill's last before a belated summer break while Moyes also took the opportunity to give summer signings Jermaine Beckford and Joao Silva second-half debuts.

Following the arrival of Michael Beauchamp and Josip Skoko, van ‘t Schip now has nearly a full squad at his disposal, ensuring the former Ajax man is able to ramp up preparations for the Club’s debut campaign.

And with only one game remaining until Heart makes its national bow on August 5, the Club’s clash with the Loddon Mallee Lightning is set to take on added importance.

Melbourne Heart midfielder Josip Skoko has declared anything less than a finals berth would be a failure as the club embarks on its maiden Hyundai A-League campaign.

Success is high on the agenda of Skoko and head coach John van' t Schip after a promising pre-season so far that has included a 2-0 friendly loss to English Premier League side Everton last week.

Melbourne Heart coach John van 't Schip says his new team can challenge for the A-League title provided it embraces the game he has in mind.

The Heart's official launch drew only a small crowd to Federation Square on Friday morning, but van 't Schip has been impressed by the way his players have dedicated themselves to the Dutch style of possession and movement.

The Heart and Central Coast kick off the season when they play at AAMI Park on Thursday night.

"There's still a long way to go because we've just started, but I'm very confident we'll end up with a high quality (style) of football," van 't Schip said.

"We want to be going for the prize.

"But for me the most important thing is to play a game that I have in mind and if we achieve that, the results will come.

A fair bit of advertising going on in Melbourne for the Heart, they've even had the front page of the age a couple times over the last few weeks, will be interesting to see what the crowd is like tomorrow night, I'm thinking it will be quite strong at around the 15,000 mark.

11,050.
Not bad with predictions between 10 and 15 G
School and work night and a bit cold.
Heart were very tentative in the first half and got going in the second.
They weren't disgraced and they shouldn't be disheartened (ugh!) as there is a
lot of room for improvement.
They just need to keep playing together and it will eventually click for them.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.
