Nah mate, as I said its only one reason to dislike them, I could definately do a better job of recommending a better coach if I was paid for it though.
Also no longer in touch with the game, clowns like a few involved at United have driven a lot of true grass roots soccer fans away from the game to make way for the theatre goers, a bit like when the Crows entered the market in FOOTball.

And don't be mean to me with your rolling eyes or I'll cry!

soccer/football (a pointless argument) required full open sport surgery to have any chance of surving in the domestic market and the the A-League has been a great success so far.
the game would be going nowhere in Adelaide had the old NSL continue to operate and sad as it may have been for some it was time to realise the need for change.

Yeah Huge success, an estimated combined loss of 10 million dollars between the 8 clubs.
No FTA coverage, a mere 6 figure contract with Fox (compare that to the AFL and NRL TV deals!!).
Bugerall corporate interest.
The only club that's been around for a while is the Glory and their crowds have gone backwards since the advent of the A-League.

Crikey, if that's "a great success" I'd hate to see what happens if it fails!! :?

the A League is much much stronger than the NSL, that was dying a slow painful death
we were so close to scoring at the death last week, im sure we can win tomorrow though and get another crack at the showponys from sydney
