Think you missed my point Ian - I definately wasn't saying you were racist.

What I meant to say was that those people who have more Australian sounding names suck at soccer, so that is why there are not many there!

Well the only thing that sours our win is that you still have some people trying to bag the team and the game. Just savour the win and be done with it ;)

Doesn't make much diff if we come 1st or 2nd, the Italians or Czechs would both be formidable opponents.
I would hate to play the czechs. They are an awesome team. Nedved is a big game matchwinner, watch out for him. They are the favourites in my mind. That put on an absolute clinic against the Us who beleive it or not are a good team!

And Timmy Cahill!!!! He could well go down as our greatest ever player after this tournament! This is the stage to show your true worth. I thought Viduka was awesome in the first half, needed a Cahill or Kennedy to help him and it could have been all over by half time.

Thought the lowlights were
Kewell
Wilkshire
Neill (hardly sore him at all)

LUCAS NEILL: The game of his life. Cool, composed and brilliant under pressure in a three-man backline. Was Australia's best for 90 minutes. Rating: 9.

FROM THE ADVERTISER - You Idiot Duncs!

Yeah sorry mate i forgot how accurate the advertiser is :?
Emerton did have a shocker but in fairness he was played out of position. Ive seen better crosses in my indoor soccer team!
Wilkshire is a hack, cant figure that one out. And Harry? Well he isnt that good a player really.

Emerton was played out of position, but he is a decent player, and when he is on song he is a walk-up start for Australia.

Harry Kewell is the same. Unfortunately some people think that because we have won one game, that we must have mountains of depth in our side. These guys are in the starting line-up because Guus Hiddink has picked them to be, and I think he might just know a little about what he is doing....certainly proved that Monday night!

LOL ... Not trying to bag anyone, just suggesting that Emerton hasn't come along as I first thought he would to this point in time ... I don't think for a minute anyone is suggesting Guus doesn't know what he's doing

And have these same people not made considerable and venerable contributions to Aussie Rules, including the SANFL?
