Well, we've finally found the one person in Australia outside of the Essendon FC who listens to nutter Sheedy and it's the Melbourne Victory boss Ernie "John" Merrick .

If soccer is the great threat to Aussie rules as many are now saying..why is the A league played during the cricket season??. Put your cojones on the line during the fair dinkum football season and see how fast the A turns to zzzzzzzzzzzz. Even with the big four Vic clubs umable to make the eight, the tribunal a mess and the dumbest AFL boss ever in charge, the crowds are up and the TV stations are falling over themselves to negotitate a rights deal for next season.

And Ernie, tell me this..what part did you play in helping the Socceroos qualify for the World Cup? Stick to trying to get some consistency out of your own under-performing prima donnas, the mis-named 'Victory'.

Cripes I'm almost sticking up for him in this thread. As for calling him 'nutter', even some Essendon fans (and no doubt players) would worry about his mental state at times. Do you think Sheedy will take the Bombers forward, or keep them in the middle for all eternity.

When will Essendon make the top four again Badsin?
