Gotta wonder whats going on when players like Petta, Owens and Dodd are starting the match on the bench.

Hopefully they can do a Port Magpies of old, and slump through the middle of the season and then hit their peak when it's all on the line, but they'd wanna pull their socks up, only in line for a finals appearance now by goal difference (and a slim one at that).

It is never going to happen though. How the hell can Petta be left on the bench ALL game? I know Spags was playing brilliantly on the wing again but take Veart off and bring the Dutchman on for a bit of pace and fresh legs.

It is pretty bad when the biggest cheer of the game was for Aloisi getting subbed off. Has Kossie finally woken up to the fact the captain is a liability? I doubt it unfortunately.
