Rini Va Fan Coolen........

anyway rini maybe one of those managers that is better training up youth, but i do have a feeling the head of youth is adelaide united's way of putting rini on gardening duty ala phil brown at hull.

personaly i would of rather stubbins and veart be bought in or even mori be given a shot (done fantastic coaching city), however i dont have a problem with kossie but he is just under caretaker role and luckly for us the a-league has finals etc so all we have to do is finish 6th and it looks like an ok season. The only thing i want from kossie is to make the team more competative and put 100% that is all.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Incorrect, its been a laughing stock ever since they started (5 nil ring a bell? Pissant ring a bell?). Just a bigger one now.
And they're not involved with Norf, in fact it got rid of a couple of people most are glad to see the back of.
I love watching them crash and burn, there is not one thing that I like about them and even less now.
Hopefully they keep forking out 4.3 mill to their players while my Mariners scrape by week to week paying their team who is top of the table 2 mill!

Most of what you say is true and I am embarassed by them at the moment.
Maybe Kossie might bring back some good times and hopefully get us playing well in time for the ACL where unlike the Aussie sides we have actually done well

Actually as much as I disliked Kosmina (he was one of the main reasons I disliked Adelaide United from the start because of his previous attitude as a commentator to Adelaide City) he does bring passion to the job and he's working for different people now. I honestly think its a good appointment.

My opinion of what needs to change on-field:

1) Play Djite centrally up front with van Dijk where he belongs in a 4-4-2 with a diamond midfield.
2) Play Vidosic central, in behind the two from wish 1)
3) Drop Boogaard, he makes too many horrible, horrible mistakes. McKain and Susak as the central defensive pairing.
4) Play Ramsay wide in midfield and not at left back.
5) Find another left back in case Cassio never comes back.
6) Use Levchenko as the holding midfielder when fit, no more Usucar or Dilevski please.
7) Give Galekovic the captaincy.
8 ) Sign Nathan Burns.

That's it, I think.

That's it, I think.

Greg Griffen on the world game is dribbling some absolute tripe!!! what a total farce this has become, how can he seriously expect Coolen to stay at the club in any capacity, and then expect Valkanis to just move aside from his youth position? Well and truely the laughing stock of the A-League

Leckie only left at the end of last season, doubt he'd turn his back on the Bundesliga after not even 12 months. Would love to see Flores back but can't see it happening.

McKain hasn't been at his best this season yes, to me he looks like a guy who isn't handling the pressure of the captaincy all that well. He has said himself that he's not sure that he's a natural leader. More reason to give Galekovic the captaincy and try to free McKain up a bit.

Djite hasn't been in games properly because Coolen has been playing him out of position. The guy is not a winger.

Gees he came over badly on the radio the other night. He appears absolutely useless. Almost as feeble as the infamous Mike Rann "Go Panthers".

AUFC would be much better off with Greg Graffin at the helm...

Not trying to deny that. One of many f**k ups by the club, just wondering how long he would have ended up staying anyway.
