Sure is - last night was very disappointing.

I dozed through a bit of it.

But our defence allowed them to move the ball too quickly up the pitch. It was a reasonable game to watch - because the ball was moving back and forth rapidly, but....

I would have preferred to see Djite start too (although, Thompson did an ok job).

Colosimo is so damn crap.

Pim bags the A-League, gets criticised by a lot of people, but then gets proven to be correct. The standard here is a disgrace.

Wilkshire is turning into a fine player though, I was one of his his biggest critics a few years back but he is quality now.

Djite should have started and Archie could come off the bench, he looks good in the a league but he is really an ordinary player. Just too good for the A League. His finishing and first touch are abysmal.

100% totally agree, the fact that players such as Corica, Colosimo, Harnwell, Ifill and the Central Coast striker who has nearly player for every NSL club can still dominate the competition when they are almost 30 or older is a joke

Heard that too DA but I think that banter started when they were comparing the ages that Oar and Kewell both had their first game for Australia. He, like Leckie both look to have good futures playing for Australia no matter how far they take their games.

Yeah, they sort of dug themselves deeper into it, to the point where it became tedious.

Agree though, very bright futures for Oar and Leckie. Hopefully they go to good clubs overseas and continue their development with better quality around them.

I really, REALLY want us to win this comp. It's a big ask, but not beyond us.

Personally, I hope Pim stays on, but by all accounts, he's finished in July.

I actually think it's a pretty even tourny and besides a couple of teams any of the other 14 teams could win it. guess it depends on the draw and some of those teams that might be shite when they travel from the middle east wouldnt have that problem cause its been played in Qatar so that gives them a chance.

Australia will have a great chance to win it as long as someone like Graham Arnold isnt in charge, so the question is if Pim isnt gonna be there after the WC and they ar apprently in talks have the FFA already got someone lined up to replace him, surely they cant leave it like last time where it took 18 months to hire Pim.

Out of curiosity what have you seen in Pims coaching that makes you want him to remain DA?

I will certainly be waiting until June / July before forming an opinion either way on whether i would like to see him stay or go.

I'd like to see another Dutchman (The Dutch have the best manager training programs in the world by an absolute mile). I'd LOVE to Martin Jol in charge.

Either that or a hard nosed Italian in the mould of Capello or Trapattoni.
