Certainly wont be renewing my membership this season after United failed to get flores back, its a disgrace, Victory embarress United again. United should have fought hand over fist for Flores, or even told Sergio to P*** off to indonesia so Flores could be the marquee again. all Griffen wants is the club to be profitable doesnt care about where we finish. sells Mullen a quality young defender as soon as money gets laid on the table.

What vision does Kosmina have?? at least Rini had a plan and a goal for football in this state. Club is a joke

My little boys is devastated... He loved Flores, he was the mascot that walked out with him in the first ACL game he played for the Reds... I'm pretty pissed off as well...

I don't understand why they club couldn't come to an arrangement to back end his contract, minimal amount in the first year, then give him wads of cash in the 2nd and 3rd years. Now idiots are talking about the next big thing to fill the final spot. Really, the club new what they were going to get with Flores, but now people think it will be easy to find a replacement from some South/Central American country who will be as good for less money... Sorry it isn't that easy...

Very tempted to let the Gold Family Season Ticket go this year... probably will still get it, but won't be taking my young un to the Victory Games...

Just looking at this picture and in 3 years, we only have 3 players from that team still with us...

ADELAIDE UNITED 2012

Postby the joker » Mon Jul 16, 2012 11:01 pm

Apparently Flores had an offer tabled to him for 420,000 to 440,000 and came back with a an amount of 600,000 to sign at Utd, they made the right decision That's way too much money and remember he got sacked from his last team.
And united are expected to sign a more credentialed south American than Flores

What else did Flores have to prove to be a well credentialed A League player??? Every club in the country would love to have him lining up in their shirt

I quite both kits, I like the way they both have the state and club colours without looking like a crows, 36ers or any state rep top. They are nice, simple, clean and look likes a football kit so it ticks all my boxes.

Why should they have the state colours? Just like the crows, they are not a state team..

cause those colours happen to be the club colours as well. So we have and if we are gonna use them thats fine, i just dont want to look like a state rep team or the crows or the 36ers. I would like to unique in our use of the colours with in our kits.

Nothing wrong with the kit.. more the fact that clubs tend to steal/borrow the state colours too often.

I would have preferred their original strip to be a Man City type blue, but its history now. As it stands, they are the reds and IMO should stick to that and try and get as many fans in red at the games.

Well since the club form they have had the colours, red is the main one, but i first kit in the nsl was red top, blue shorts, yellow socks but it is a mainly red thing.

Should have gone with black and white, the old Juve/City strips were the best this state has ever seen.

I dunno really seeing I'm a Liverpool supporter. They got the name right!

There was at least 2 red teams in the nsl when they entered and the light blue would have been a point of difference.

Ummm i always thought it was pretty obvious the Sydney side was going to go with a light blue type strip considering its NSW 'state' colour.
