Terrible call by the linesman, goal disallowed for offside but was clearly onside.
United should be 1 up

Eugene pulls off a top shelf save from a cracker Del Piero free kick.
Sydney having a good 10 minute spell, United have dropped deeper and stopped attacking

Adelaide need to hold more possession in the forward half, turning it over too much and putting the defence under pressure. Not seeing enough of Vidosic, Carusca, Jeronimo, Kostopoulos. Should be 2 - nil but this one not over yet.

The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Lol Kostopoulos not one for the highlight reel. Nice finish from Vidosic though, all class.

Interesting to see that now he together with Malik and Eugene leave for National duty who Kosmina brings in. Couldn't help but think that had Vandijk been at the end of the cross rather than Ramsey it would've been 2-1 earlier than it was.

What's Dario up to. Too injured to play for the Socceroos but named for the Reds. How injured is he?

Who is heading in tomoz nite for the rivalry game?

Will Vidosic be back from injury? We need him to play if we want any chance. Will Kosi start Sjite this week after scoring against Central Coast?

Rivalry, maybe for use, Heart and Sydney are bigger games for us, Adelaide are our Mike Atherton to Glen McGrath!

Surely there is more feeling to the United-Victory games than the Melbourne derby. I know it's a local derby but that rivalry is still very young and is only brought about due to the fact you are both from Melbourne.

Yeah the rivalry against Adelaide is more heated than the Melbourne Derby at this, give the Melbourne a few years and abit of history and it will be bigger.

The atmosphere at a Melbourne Derby is huge though because of having a fairly good split of supporters like 60-40, where as an Adelaide- Melbourne is more like 80-20 in favour of the home team.

Without being rude to Adelaide while there is a rivalry Melbourne don't look at Adelaide as a great threat due to the finals victories, they have alot more respect for Sydney!
