Looks like Viddie gave him a bit of a talking to going by the Sunday Mail today, so hopefully it won't happen again. It's just not what Adelaide, or Australian, players do.

He'll be right though. He has got a bit of character about him I reckon. He won't do it again.

So where is everyone watching Wednesday nights game? I was at the Highway last time which was pretty cool, but for this Wednesday night I reckon Im gonna try the "Giant Screen" that's being put up in Elder Park.

Tho as the last function in Elder Park that I went to was probably a "Carols by Candle light" when I was 6, can anyone tell me wether they are likely to have a licensed area to get a beer in, or will the park remain a dry zone?

If you are talking about the dive then i think you can give him the benefit of the doubt once but if he does it again Adelaide as a club should suspend him for a game or 2. Think it was on this very thread that everyone enjoyed giving Rivaldo some stick for his "simulation" efforts against us. Cant have it both ways....

There's the rub. I was at the game, and as soon as he went down I was out of my seat as were everyone around me screaming blue murder for a penalty. I was at the other end of the pitch, but my mate and I agreed it was a penalty.

Once I saw the replay at home, I saw what happened and thought not good....

I was one of them, and I was at the game. See my comment above. Rivaldo was obvious "live" let alone on any replay. I don't agree with what Cristiano did, but as I posted elsewhere, the ref had a choice. Pay it, call play on or penalise Cristiano.

If we go 1-0 down on wednesday night because a japanese player falls over thin air in the penalty box i will care!!

I for one would like to see Adelaide to (most likely) be the first club in the world to get on the front foot and state that we dont tolerate diving at our club. I understand that it is now part of the game and can be the difference between winning and losing etc but i just hate seeing it.

I have no answers to your questions, sorry, but I would also like to see people's thoughts on whether Elder Park might be a good option, or is it likely to just have 3 people and a dog?

I reckon the Super Screen would be a good option. Should be a good crowd down there, with a great atmosphere. No alcohol, but if it's free entry I doubt they will have a gate you are going to walk through, so nothing would stop you sneaking in a couple of drinks.

I'll be watching from home with a few mates however, as I live in the country.
