Very good result for the Sydney FC.
Adelaide need to win or get a high scoring draw to get to the GF now.

A win or a 3-all draw.

I think we're rooted just personally.

I just hope we can crush the heart of the Sydney fans over there, personally i also think it'll be a hard task, but i know we're capable.

Will be making the trip, should be awesome either way!

C'MON YOU REDS!

It's impossible to crush a Sydney sport fan's heart for a simple reason - they don't have one.

Sydney is nothing like Adelaide when it comes to sport. In Adelaide people choose their team, they hold on, and they don't let go. Sydney is far too big and diverse to bond with its sporting teams like this. There's so much else to do that if a Sydney team isn't winning they don't give a shit.

An Adelaide win won't crush sydney's heart because they'll jump ship to the Swans in April, Socceroos mid year, and some NRL team in August and September.

I travelled to Sydney for the round 21 clash, and i'll tell ya it's another world. It cost $18 to park a car (after we had to pay a $3 bridge toll). That was twice the entry price of the game for me! The ground was empty at the beginning but then filled out at half time. Of the 25,000 people there that night, half came over 40 minutes into the match. ******* weird people!

In hindsight, was it really a good idea to play the first final at home?
If Sydney score first (in Sydney), I can see them "shutting up shop" and making it very difficult for the Reds.
Adelaide United, however, seem to play better when their up against it.

COME ON YOU REDS!

Sydney win 2-1 and go into the GF, go the Bling!

Who was the mastermind at Adelaide United that elected to have the first leg in Adelaide?
My thanks to whoever the clown was though, may have cost Adelaide a championship.

PS Dogsbody was in todays paper in the pic showing the United fans going over for the game.
