Who's going?

Mrs DW has kindly granted me the weekend away from home to go to the match (it's actually our wedding anniversary) with some mates.
I went last year and it was great. The atmosphere at the ground was brilliant as was the walk to the ground from the train station.
Pubs around the city were full of red too.

You're a idiot HOF...

Sploosh, United play Sydney Bling ! At Adelaide Oval kickoff at 1930. Get your tickets early. Last time was a sellout !!

And DW. I'll be there !!

I will be there. Have a Rooster mate's birthday drinks that day so we will watch the end of the cricket then head to AO to watch us beat the Bling! We better put in a better performance than last time at AO and hopefully bloody Santalab doesn't play (or Cornflakes).

I went to the Ar5ena1 v Tottenham game on our wedding anniversary, with the missus "consent". I'm still paying for it.

Its a pity they don't put Adelaide against a glamour club like Central Coast at Adelaide Oval as that'd get real soccer fans out for the game and make it a blockbuster.
Oh well. :(
Can't blame them, they probably want somebody they could beat and with Adelaides record in blockbuster games they'd probably want to steer clear of another 5 or 6 nil drubbing.

I'll be at QPR v Clarets Loftus Road, FA Cup 3rd Round.
But good luck to AUFC.

Can't make it to this one, although it should be a belter of a game. I have to say though, viewing soccer at Adelaide Oval is terrible compared to Hindmarsh. It's the best ground in the world for footy and cricket, but with that rectangular pitch out in the middle it's just not the same.

Hopefully we get a win there this year though; that will make it a bit better to watch. No early send offs please.

My best mate landed in England from Australia on Friday and will be at that game as well. He is a mad Burnley fan and is going up to Swansea to watch them, as well as trying to get tickets to the first leg of the Carling Cup semi final at White Hart Lane

He might struggle to get tickets to the WHL game. I am sure the away tickets are sold out. Only 4,100 allocation. Not sure about the home tickets though. not sure he would want to be in the home end anyway.

I can email my contact at the club if you like and see if I can get him a ticket. Let me know.

I'll be at Adelaide Oval Saturday night. Couldn't get a ticket last year but made sure I got in early last year. Will be interesting to compare the viewing at AO with Hindmarsh.
