I really hope that Aussies can take this game tonight. We'd have to be a reasonable chance, yes? Living in Japan, it would make life so much easier tomorrow (and longer...)

You bloody beauty! I was really looking forward to this game. Wasn't sure what to expect and all. Last world cup was a real buzz with Japan doing so well and me being here and mixing with the celebrations.
Whatever! Go you Aussies! The best feeling out!
GO AGAIN AUSSIES!

F#$% me dead...what a comeback...from the dead!
Geez, were the Japanese conscious of Josh Kennedy or what?
It's the only explanation I can find for the keeper's brain-freeze in coming so far out to meet that cross which left the goal so unprotected.
And led to Cahill's first goal.
Hiddink's torture training paid off nicely - the Japanese were out on their feet in the last ten minutes while the Socceroos looked like they were just warming up and could have gone another 90 minutes.
Destiny is in our hands now.

I collected £235 on the Aussies today (about $560) I think Im gonna let it ride on Brazil to beat us, then us to beat Croatia, depending on how they both look Tomorrow in their battle.
Gr8 win and Gr8 spirit!!!!

Get in, Australia, get in!! I love Aussie Rules, but when you see a sport played on such an international stage as this, it really does have a lot going for it.

That's right Sploosh - soccer will never quite match Aussie Rules, but last night's win takes it another step furter forwards.
Fantastic win by the Aussies!!
