A-League Crowds

Unfortunatly once again really poor crowds (except Adelaide), A-League in massive trouble clubs such as Sydney, Brisbane and Newcastle will not be able to survive with 6-8k crowds.

AFL replay will hurt especailly the first Melbourne Derby being played on the same weekend as AFL grand final,

Will be interesting to see if the A-League crowds pick up alot once the AFL/NRL season finishes and with daylight saving approaching.

Maybe the A-League should consider having the season played between October-April missing the football codes. This may mean having a few midweek games but this is generally accepted in Soccer especially considering we have no Cup competition, you could then still give teams just the one home game per week.
