Kewell, Eugene and Fabio got the votes for the Alex Tobin medal. I thought Caravella had to get a vote or two he had his best game for the club.

I thought more might've been said about the Vidosic corner that appeared to be very close to crossing the goal line, Kosi was adament that it was a goal in his post match pressie.

1 all at Gosford between Newcastle and Central Coast.
Great coaching by Graham Arnold to change formations at half time when we were down.
Happy with the point as we struggle against the Jets.

Yeah I watched the end of the match, unbelievable.
The first Brissy goal was a cracker and whilst the next a minute later was good its the peanut who scored it had to carry on like such a lunatic after the match.
Grabs the Sydney player and tells him to follow him outside so they can fight it out, takes his shirt off and runs for the race. Tossbag of the highest nature.

The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Get on youtube and watch the celebration of the 1st goal. As the bloke drops to the ground some bloke in the crowd stacks it over a row of stairs and face plants the ground...HILLARIOUS!!

My daughter showed me that face plant. A classic!

Well, watched the entire game tonight and saw my Mariners win against the Heart. Still not sure how as Melbourne dominated. Man of the Match was clearly our goalie Matt Ryan.

I think the story goes that Fossie got into a bar fight over there and spent the nite in jail. Frank Farina said he will never play again for the Socceroos after said incident. Heard Fossie is a number 1 tosser!!

Yeah was in the 2000 OFC cup, Foster and a few others were locked up but were all released without charges. Foster never played for Australia again after that. Have heard that he is a tosser but met him several times when he played for City and he seemed like not a bad bloke.
I reckon some of his rants about British managers is well founded as the majority of them are duds, English managers especially are very ordinary bar a few.
Not taking any sides but i have always seen Slater as a typical fiery red head

God, just read about the Mariners draw in the weeks before the finals which includes trips to NZ, Perth, China and Korea! Expect them to be off the boil by the time the finals roll around.
Speaking of, I give Adelaide a chance tonight, the 1 nil win to the Mariners against the Heart was a very deceptive result as the Heart were clearly the better side that night.

Oh yeah, what a second half! :D
Another win for the good guys over the rich boys. ;)

In all seriousness the Mariners haven't been the same team since Matt Simon departed, could have easily have lost the last 3 games and the fact they got 7 points out of them is amazing. Highlights for the game were Djite's goal, Kwaznik's goal and yet another awesome save by Matt Ryan.

Despite disliking Adelaide United I was annoyed that the commentators kept referring to the poor state of the pitch and how it wouldn't suit the mariners. Hindmarsh Stadium has always been like a billiard table when I've been there so I'm sure it didn't suit Adelaide either.
