Gold Coast 1-1 Wellington
James Brown scored an 89th equaliser for GC.
Wellington scored early but GC led the shots on goal 23-8, absolutely battered the Phoenix so it was no suprise that they equalised.

United getting a lesson in midfield. Looking like a bit of a rabble at the moment.
We are bloody lucky not to have conceded as yet.

Only need 1 chance though. Comeon lads...

You are a %%kin disgrace Adelaide.
Could have played for another 8 hours and not scored
Why the hell did we get Djite back? aboslutely useless
If it wasnt for Eugene we would have lost 6-0
Keep serving up that crap and we will finish bottom 2

Bruce didn't do that bad had 2-3 on him everytime he had the ball. My question is what is the point in getting players that play keep ball, pass it on the ground etc and then during the game play bloody long ball hoof football, if we wanted to do that, we should of kept vidmar incharge. Thought really besides Eugene no adelaide player did better than a 5/10, Eugene was fantastic as always and if he wasn't there the glory could of been almost 4-5 up at half time. No complants the Glory where clearly the better side and they deserve all 3 points.....if we play the way we did today against the victorys attacking 5 of alsop, archie, rojas, kewell and hernandez we are going to get an absolute pasting as they will punish us and rip us to shreads. Hopefully it was just the first game of the season type game and now its out of our system.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Brisbane looked very sharp again last weekend and the Marinners weren't bad either. Adelaide were shocking and I ended up watching Rugby instead.

Put a $10 muti on:
Sydney FC/Melbourne draw
Newcastle win
Brisbane win
Perth/Adelaide draw
Adelaide cost me $450  Only had to hold on another 15 minutes and my multi would have come in!

Great performance by the Reds tonight. Should have been more then 1-0 but thats a good thing at this time of the time. Vidosic had a great first up performance and hopefully can go someway to filling the hole left by Flores. Looking forward to my trip to melbourne for the return match on december 9.

Good to win. But still need improvement, we have to start taking our chances. Missed too many good chances and turned the ball over in the middle of the park to often. For all our dominance Hernandez could have nicked a point near the end. Very happy with Vidosic, Susak and Caravella tonight. Far better result

Give it time Jim the squad has had a fairly big turnover. You can't expect them to cme out all guns firing that quickly. We also lost the most influentiual player in the league that hole is not easily replaced. Brisbane started slowly las year when their squad went through a major turnover of players. I wish they showed the game in Paris haha I haven't missed any Adel melb games until this one. How did slory go?

I thought he did ok, showed good pace and gave off some good passes. Missed a sitter from 5m out but still a far better effort. Still dont think he gets into the box enough, several times tonight there were crosses and no one was at the far post and he was hanging back a bit too much. Is improving every game.
Enjoy Paris, awesome place and i went to the 2006 CL final there between Barca and Arsenal, many happy memories :)
