This is it sports fans, Sunday afternoon at Suncorp stadium, Brisbane Roar v Perth Glory.

Brisbane will start as red hot favourites in front of a sold out stadium, but the 1500-2000 travelling Glory fans are hoping luck will be on their side as they strive for their 1st A League title and first championship since 2004.

Ill be on the lounge hung over cheering for the glory!!!

That was the biggest joke of a penalty I have seen in my life. What an absolute disgrace

What a great example of why soccer is the worst sport going around.

The penalty will be replayed again and again. Berisha tunnelled his way into the penalty area, finally had a huge air swing after going past Liam Miller. No contact visible on any replay from any angle. Hard for the ref in real time, but agonising for Perth.

What an aweful decision by the Ref at that stage of a GF...

Mickey will be spewing, big time...

No way should a decision like that decide a Championship...

Maybe soccer needs to have a Video Review system?

Shocking call but to be honest Brisbane were more likely to win with Perth down to ten men and smeltz subbed off. Ref was jarred Gillette i think, don't know why someone like strebe delovski wasn't used. Bad luck to the glory

Well what can i say.... that is some of the worst officiating I've ever seen.. Smeltz gets his nose smashed all over his face and the ref gives Brisbane the free... handing out yellows like they are ******* Christmas cards.. but only to the away team!

If he wasn't on the take then **** me he should never ref again..

I am a shattered man and luckily the motel hasn't any rope laying around...

But did we sound good on tv??

Smeltz actually fouled him just before the accidental elbow, missed the ball and stepped on his foot.

Time for video reviews of all penalties ,and the guy who took the dive should get 5 weeks ,the same for the ref ,now i know why i hate soccer!!

Just read that was due to an "administrative error" that Thomas Broich was incorrectly awarded the Joe Marston Medal instead of Jacob Burns.
